| I just got back from a 8 day road trip through the west and just got an email from one of my teachers that a friend of mine was driving home from work friday evening, was speeding and lost control of his car, hit a tree and was killed instantly about a 1/2 mile from my house. I didn't know him that well but, I did teach him to drive standard in my Z and he loved it. "Whoa Man! This car's sweeeeeeet!" And every day afterwards, "Hey man, got your Z today? Can we go drivin again?" I just hit me about an hour ago as I drove by the cross and letters left by his loved ones and saw the tire marks drawn across the street and the bark torn off the tree. It's a huge wake up call. I'm a little disappointed in him, because he was not the stupid ricer wannabe boy. He was a VERY smart and carring person. It's a shame he had to lose his life at such a young age. It's just so unreal and now every time I drive down that road I get a sobering reminder that just that one time... just once... can change everything. Drive safe guys, I know I will.
